Dominika O’Sullivan, CIPD
Dominika is a qualified HR consultant with more than 15 years’ experience in human resources and recruitment. She provides expert insight and support to small and medium sized business in a diverse range of sectors and is passionate about delivering HR solutions that give her clients confidence to manage and grow their businesses.
Dominika studied a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the Dublin Business School, before undertaking a Diploma in HR Management (CIPD HR qualification) from the National College of Ireland. She is a CIPD member and passionate about continuing education to ensure she remains at the cutting-edge of HR innovations and industry news.
Dominika commenced her HR career with Hilton Worldwide where she held a range of HR positions including HR Manager for the Conrad Dublin and Recruitment Specialist for Hilton Worldwide’s Ireland-based properties. She has also worked as a HR Manager for Choice Hotels Ireland and the Dalata Hotel Group, and led the recruitment function and co-lead the HR function in preparation for the re-opening of Adare Manor Resort in Co. Limerick.
Dominika also has extensive consultancy experience having held the position of Senior HR Consultant in a highly reputable HR firm where she advised and supported businesses to achieve compliance with relevant legislation and implement HR best practices within their organisation. Having also worked with Action Recruitment, she was delighted to return as the HR lead for Action’s HR division, embracing the opportunity to invest in building long-term relationships with her clients and supporting them on their HR journey every step of the way.

Catherine Monahan, MCIPD
Catherine joins the team with a wealth of experience having worked in Human Resources Management for over 20 years. She is passionate about all things HR and about delivering exceptional service to her clients. This in turn gives her clients the much-needed time to focus on growing and developing other areas of their business. Her diverse experience from a variety of industry sectors in Ireland gives her the breadth and depth of skills and knowledge needed to advise and support her clients.
Catherine completed a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies at the University of Ulster as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management at the National College of Ireland. She has been a member of the CIPD for over 20 years and is currently a Chartered Member. Moreover, she is a trained Mediator and Trainer. Catherine was awarded HR and Training Manager of the Year in 2017 from the Irish Hospitality Institute.
Catherine worked for 5 years with the renowned Abhann Productions, better known as Riverdance, as their HR Manager. She was part of the 2007 opening team of Lough Eske Castle, a luxury 5-star Hotel and Spa in Donegal where she spent over 10 years working, initially as an HR Manager, and later as their HR Director. More recently, she has worked as the HR Director for Cara Pharmacy Group. Catherine has also held HR positions in manufacturing production and within the healthcare sector.

Sharon Sweeney, CIPD
Coming from the luxury hospitality market where Sharon has spent most of her career, she has in recent years, discovered a passion for the ever-changing people profession. Currently finishing study of an Associate Diploma in HR Management (CIPD), she is excited about the impact HR good practice can deliver to an organisation. She loves to support a company’s biggest asset – its people and believes in creating meaningful and lasting relationships with management and employees.
Before her career in HR, Sharon studied hospitality and catering management and spent 8 years immersed in the French hospitality environment, from prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants to some of the finest luxury Relais and Chateaux Hotels in the country.
Returning to Ireland, Sharon found her niche in the luxury market with the esteemed Capella Hotel group, Lough Eske Castle, where she spent 13 years developing her career.
She completed a leadership development program during her time as Front Office Manager at Lough Eske Castle which gave her the foundations for all things HR. She then undertook an exciting new opportunity in the role of HR Manager for the Company ensuring HR best practice, employment law compliance and driving people strategy.
Sharon has extensive experience in creating training plans and improving policies and procedures. She underwent training programs such as Train the Trainer and Investigations Training. Her many years in leadership roles has given her an exceptional insight into the operational challenges businesses can experience. Sharon is excited to join the team and share her unique perspectives to help professionals with innovative ways to contribute value to their organisations.
Mislav Magaš, CIPD
Mislav joins the team as an experienced Hospitality Recruitment Consultant coming from Action Recruitment, eager to broaden his knowledge and experience in providing Human Resource Services. He is passionate about creating a postitive employee experience and providing remarkable service to his clients.
He has completed a Masters in Psychology from Croatian Catholic University and has an Foundation Certificate (Level 5) in HR Management (CIPD) and is excited what people practice has to offer in the fast-changing working environment in the upcoming years. Mislav believes human capital is any organization’s greatest asset and a solid foundation for a successful operation.
Before joining Action Recruitment, he worked for a Croatian market research company gaining in-depth knowledge and experience in conducting research and providing results and advice to major clients. After that, Mislav had experience in an international IT Recruitment agency where recruitment services were successfully provided in the ever-changing IT industry.

Noel Cafferkey, Managing Director & Owner
I grew up on Achill Island, and gained my passion for the hospitality sector at the age of 14 when I took on a summer job with McDowells Hotel. I have worked in the industry ever since whether it be in Operations, Sales, Digital or Recruitment.
After completing 4 years studying Hotel & Catering Management in AIT, I held a number of managerial roles.
Over a cup of coffee and a brief chat with Brian in 2005, I joined Action Recruitment as a consultant. During this time I completed my CIPD in DIT. I also completed a Diploma in Online Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute. In 2009, I joined Avvio as Business Development Manager for the UK and Ireland. After a stint of 3.5 years I then took on the role of Director of Business Development for Northern Europe with Market Metrix.
I was humbled and privileged to become the Managing Director & Owner of Action Recruitment in the summer of 2016, and then of Action HR Services in 2021. I am incredibly excited to be part of the next leg of this incredible journey with these great people in Action.
